2006 – Italy – “Little Train to Pompei”

Naples, Sorrento, Capri and Almafi

At Christmas in 2006 we flew to Naples on British Airways.

We spent some time in the city and then got the train down to Sorrento.  We stayed there until New Year’s Day.

4  – Had Pizza in the city where it was invented

Perfect to get the mouth watering before dinner

6 – Had some absolutely wonderful food

7 – Visited the beautiful churches – All done up for Christmas

8 -Went to Capri

---

9 – Caught a bus along the Almalfi Coast

---

10 – Relaxed on the beach – even in December!

11 – Had some wonderful Gelato – great even when it is cold outside

---

12 – Visited Pompeii and Herculaneum

---

13 – Watched a New Year’s Eve concert at our hotel
