Vietnam – Hue

The city of Hue is located about halfway down the Vietnamese coastline.  It was the seat of past ruling dynasties and is home to many historic sites many of which are UNESCO listed.

In 2011 we had 24 hours in the city and spent most of the afternoon wandering around the imperial palace and the moat that surrounded the citadel walls.

We had time to look at the local markets as well.
