Crossing America by bus
By late June 1986 I finally had confidence that I had enough cash saved to stop working in the UK and begin my journey.
I flew first to the USA and then crossed the country by “Trailways” bus. I also made brief visits to both Canada and Mexico in the process.
I kept a diary of my travels.
The diary covers not only the first USA sector but also the next two years of travelling.
