I chose the number 13 as my lucky number because I wanted to appear to be bloody-minded.

I suppose that I figured that as everyone else thought it to be unlucky I would prove to them that it wasn’t.

I have proved no such thing of course.

Nevertheless,  I have used the number 13 on here quite a lot.

I have found it an easy and convenient way to present some of the photographs of some of the journeys I have made.

London Paddington Station has 13 Platforms. They are numbered 1-12 & 14.  Platform 13 doesn’t exist.
